Zum Stiefel

Im Jahre 1702 gründete Johann Daniel Bruch in Saarbrücken eine Brauerei. Im Gebäude nebenan gründete zur selben Zeit ein Schuster namens Nickel Kiefer eine Gaststätte, die er “Zum Stiefel” nannte.
Der Braumeister verliebte sich in des Schusters Tochter und so kam zusammen, was nun schon über neun Generationen lang hält.
